It was such a pleasure to share my story recently at K&L Gates’s Brisbane Annual Women in Profession Author’s High Tea, and I was grateful for the generosity of all of the fabulous women (and one lucky bloke!) in the room. Below is an update from K&L Gates’s Ferlene Cheng. Thank you for helping me make it count! #ProjectFutures
“Recently, K&L Gates Brisbane hosted the annual Women in Professions Author High Tea where close to 60 people attended. It was so amazing and inspirational to hear from Suzanne Westgate, GM Operational Services and author of her first book, The Joneses and the Pirateers – Search for the Phantom Lady. This book is something extra special, not only is it a great rescue adventure but it also gives back to charity. All proceeds are donated to Project Futures which is a charity that assists women and children affected by human trafficking. I am very proud to have been a part in organising this event.”
