Dear Friends,
I am pleased to share that after two book launches and amazing support from my friends and work colleagues, almost 300 copies of The Joneses and the Pirateers – Search for the Phantom Lady have been sold!
From the generosity of book launch attendees, sales, and AGL’s charity sharing platform, The Joneses and the Pirateers – Search for the Phantom Lady has raised over $2000 for Project Futures – which gives hope to children and women affected by trafficking in Cambodia and Australia.
Here is a summary of the official book launch (and thank you again to K&L Gates for sponsoring):
And here is some initial feedback from my [wonderful, bias] readers:
“Dear Susie, I just finished the book you made and loved it. I am really looking forward to Book 2.”
“Loving it!”
“Can’t wait until book 2”
“A very fun story, and I encourage everyone with young children (or even those who are young at heart) to give it a read.”
“I finished reading your book last night and I’m wanting more. It was an absolutely pleasure reading it, and I can’t wait for the next book.”
Thank you for all the support! Now to sell another 1000 copies and launch Book 2….
Suz
